Prayer & Worship at MCJC
Jewish prayer is about vision and imagination: to think the thoughts, to dream the dreams, to anticipate the unimaginable, and yet to imagine it none the less. The word for prayer in Hebrew is LeHitPalel, an intentional and reflexive act. The Cantor, Hazzan in Hebrew, means an envisioner, leading us in a collective exercise of visionary thinking.
